So simple answer is this if you do that with passion its easy and if you just want to start vlogs by watching other's vlogs so its very hard to be patinate and get good response and carry this to end you will quite this in middle if you don't have passion.
For Vlogging you need a camera no matter how costly is this and which brand is this, You can start vloging with your smartphone's camera and i personally recommend you to start vloging with smartphone then after getting success and becoming patienate buy a good vlogging camera and do vlogs professional .
if you are camera shy you cannot make good vlogs even you cannot create a simple video for any purpose. You have to stand before camera try it make prectise and then start uploading.
Never ever try to be professional in start . Be yourself. Your Followers will tell you which changes you have to bring in next video.
